A white shirt for men with a sharper collar and a more formal cuff than the usual office shirt. It is cut from 100% cotton twill (80s 2-ply, 151 g, medium heavyweight) in plain white, with a cutaway collar, French cuffs and a French placket. There is no pocket and the back is smooth. Every shirt is made to order in your size or your own measurements.
A plain white twill with a little texture
Twill is woven with fine diagonal lines, so the white has more depth than a flat poplin. You can see the lines up close in the fabric photo. The color is a clean white with no pattern, which is why it works under a navy suit, a charcoal suit or a dark blazer, and with almost any tie.
Cutaway collar with 3-inch points
A cutaway collar has points that angle out and back toward the shoulders, leaving a wide opening for the tie. The collar on this shirt has 3-inch points on a 1.25-inch band. That wide opening gives a thicker tie knot, such as a half-Windsor or Windsor, room to sit without being squeezed. It also looks tidy with the top button open when you want a less formal look.
French cuffs with square corners
French cuffs are double cuffs. The cuff is cut twice as long as a standard cuff, folded back and closed with cufflinks instead of buttons. The corners on this cuff are square. Cufflinks are not included. The photos show the shirt styled with a round blue and white stone cufflink as an example. If you would rather skip cufflinks, see the white shirt with two-button angled cuffs.
French placket for a clean front
A French placket is made by folding the front of the shirt rather than sewing on a separate band. It leaves a smooth, uncluttered line down the buttons, which suits a shirt you will wear with a tie and jacket.

Frequently asked questions
What is a cutaway collar?
A collar whose points angle out and back toward the shoulders, creating a wide opening for the tie. On this shirt the points are 3 inches long and the collar band is 1.25 inches high.
Can I wear a cutaway collar with a tie?
Yes. The wide opening suits a tie, especially a thicker knot such as a half-Windsor or Windsor. It also looks neat with the top button open and no tie.
Do I need cufflinks?
Yes. French cuffs are folded back and closed with cufflinks, which are not included with the shirt.
What is a French placket?
A front made by folding the fabric instead of sewing on a separate band, which gives a clean, smooth look down the buttons.
Will the shirt shrink?
The fabric is expected to shrink slightly. We apply counter-shrinkage adjustments when the shirt is made. Wash cold, hang dry and iron on low heat.
Can I change the details?
Yes. This shirt is fully customizable. Choose Custom for the size options and message us with the change you would like.
Do you ship to the USA, UK and Europe?
