How to wear a collar bar
A pin collar has a small eyelet on each collar point. Unscrew one ball end of the bar, pass the bar through both eyelets behind the tie, and screw the end back on. The bar lifts the knot and holds the collar points tight to it, so the tie arches forward. Choose a slim or medium tie with a four-in-hand knot; a big knot will not fit under the bar. Pair it with cufflinks for the French cuffs and a dark suit, and the look is finished.
